Meet Jeff Cofer, Your Master Craftsman
39 years of hands-on home improvement, one honest point of contact, and a reputation built one Richardson neighbor at a time.
39 Years of Doing It Right the First Time
When you hire Home Remodeling by Jeff, you aren't handed off to an anonymous franchise or a revolving door of inexperienced subcontractors. You get Jeff Cofer, a master craftsman who has painted, repaired, and restored North DFW homes since 1987.
Jeff personally inspects, quotes, and completes every job. That means one point of contact, honest written pricing, and the kind of attention to detail that only comes from four decades in the trade. From crisp cut-in lines and flawless miter joints to seamless texture matching, the work speaks for itself.
Whether it's high-end custom painting, precision trim carpentry, stress-crack drywall repair, pressure washing, or long-lasting fence staining, Jeff treats your home with the honesty, integrity, and care he'd give his own.

What Richardson & North DFW Homeowners Say
“Before I picked Jeff for our exterior painting project, I read his reviews. My first reaction was that no one can be this good. I was wrong. He showed up on time and worked hard to make sure we were completely satisfied. The paint and rehab project was exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely use his services again.”
“Jeff Cofer is THE BEST. He has been my go-to for years, a true, skilled craftsman, whether it is painting, staining, pressure washing, or replacing rotten or termite-damaged wood. He pays attention to detail, problem solves, communicates well, and cleans up the work area like no one else I have ever used. If you want quality work and worry free, call Jeff.”
“Jeff did a great job painting our kitchen and spent several days prepping and painting our cabinets in two different colors. He cleaned up afterwards, was easy to work with, and communicated well on every aspect of the job.”
“Jeff did a fantastic job on our exterior project including soffit, fascia, and painting. His craftsmanship was top-notch, and we valued his transparency and reliability throughout. He stayed true to his quote and even worked the weekend to make up for bad-weather days, completing the work on time.”
“Jeff is punctual, clearly communicates, and has amazing skills. On one project that involved retexturing, he was not happy with the match to the original, so he scraped it all and did it over. His eye for detail is second to none. I will be using him for all my texturing and painting needs.”
“I had Jeff repair sheet rock, trim, baseboards, and paint from a water-damage incident. His quote was very competitive, he was on time, did a great job, and left the job site clean each day. I highly recommend Jeff and plan to have him back for other paint work.”
“Jeff repaired drywall areas and replaced multiple air vents for us. He was prompt, very courteous, cleaned up, and did remarkable repairs. You cannot tell the areas were ever redone. He is very easy to work with and responsive. Highly recommend Jeff.”
“Jeff recently repaired the fascia and soffit on the front and side of our home and did a great job. He is professional, responsive, and his pricing is reasonable. He explained exactly what he was going to do before starting. We have hired him for several more jobs. Highly recommend.”
